Vietnamese Goods Week in Hanoi City 2024
On August 15, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade held the opening ceremony of the Hanoi Vietnamese Goods Week 2024 in Tay Ho District with more than 90 booths. This is one of a series of programs to implement the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in Hanoi in 2024.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, the 2024 Hanoi Vietnamese Goods Week attracted more than 90 booths of businesses and production establishments trading Vietnamese goods, belonging to the following groups: consumer goods, industrial products, craft village products, agricultural, forestry and fishery products, safe and organic food, OCOP products, Vietnamese goods loved by consumers and products with strengths of localities and businesses. The week will last until August 19.
According to Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen The Hiep, in order to continue supporting localities and businesses facing difficulties in consuming agricultural products and Vietnamese products, the Organizing Committee has arranged for businesses and cooperatives from provinces and cities across the country..., districts, towns in the city to participate in booths at Vietnamese Goods Week. Through the 2024 Hanoi Vietnamese Goods Week program in Tay Ho district, businesses have more opportunities to promote and introduce product brands, organize trade promotion activities, connect product consumption, stimulate consumption, and bring Vietnamese goods to people and tourists in the city. Consumers also have more opportunities to access and purchase quality products produced by Vietnamese businesses.
In order for the 2024 Hanoi Vietnamese Goods Week in Tay Ho District to be successfully organized and achieve practical results, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade requests that departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities in the city continue to support and create favorable conditions for businesses to promote trade promotion activities and connect consumption.
Organizing trade promotion programs, associated with promoting the building of Vietnamese brands, connecting production and consumption, will contribute to promoting domestic consumption, boosting revenue growth for businesses, increasing total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the country in general and in the capital in particular.
