Within the framework of the International Sourcing Expo 2024 (Vietnam International Sourcing 2024), Central Retail Vietnam collaborated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to launch a booth promoting Vietnamese coffee to international buyers.

The event took place on June 6th, 2024, aiming to introduce high-quality Vietnamese coffee that meets the needs of the international market.

Mr. Ta Hoang Linh, Director General of the European-American Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), highly appreciated the cooperation between Central Retail and the Ministry of Industry and Trade in researching the market and selecting suitable coffee products for export to Thailand and other countries.

Mr. Olivier Langlet, General Director of Central Retail in Vietnam, affirmed the group's role in supporting Vietnamese businesses to conquer the international market. He also emphasized the great development potential of the Vietnamese coffee industry, especially in the context of Vietnam's coffee exports reaching a record 4.24 billion USD in 2023.

Central Retail is committed to close cooperation with Vietnamese coffee producers, supporting research and development, improving production capacity, and connecting with global distributors.

At the booth, Central Retail showcased 5 main categories of Vietnamese coffee, including roasted and ground coffee, instant coffee, coffee capsules, canned coffee, and the coffee shop model. In addition, Central Retail also introduced environmentally friendly packaging solutions.

Central Retail hopes that the Vietnamese coffee booth will attract the attention of international buyers, opening up business cooperation opportunities and helping the Vietnamese coffee industry develop towards enhancing value chains and deep processing.

In particular, Central Retail sent purchasing representatives from Thailand to Vietnam to directly connect with businesses and promote the export of Vietnamese coffee to the world market.
