The "Connecting the International Goods Supply Chain 2024" event (Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024) recently took place in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting the participation of 600 Vietnamese businesses and 300 international distribution channels and buying delegations.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade from June 6th to 8th at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), with the goal of supporting Vietnamese businesses in deeply integrating into the global supply chain.
Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 included various activities such as an Export Forum, specialized seminars, an international exhibition, and especially B2B trade connection activities.
The 10,000 m2 exhibition brought together 600 Vietnamese businesses in the fields of food, textiles, footwear, sportswear, household goods, and furniture. Participating businesses all have high-quality products that meet the needs of the international market.
The event attracted the attention of many large corporations such as Aeon, Uniqlo, Walmart, Amazon, Falabella, Carrefour, and Central Group, as well as mid-level buyers from new markets such as South America, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

The highlight of Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 was the B2B trade connection activities. It is estimated that there were about 2,000 direct connections between Vietnamese businesses and international distribution channels and buyers. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang expects the event to promote exports, expand markets, and be a place for businesses to exchange and learn from experiences.
"Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024" took place in the context of Vietnam affirming its position as a major production center of the world. The event is expected to contribute to bringing Vietnamese goods further in the international market.
