Impressive Figures at Vietnam International Sourcing 2025

30/11/2025

Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 closed with impressive figures, affirming the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s role in bringing Vietnamese goods deeper into global value chains.

Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 (VIS 2025) has just concluded, having become the year’s largest meeting point between Vietnam’s export business community and global distribution groups, importers and retail systems. With record numbers, the event not only reflects the growing stature of Vietnam’s export sector, but also underscores the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s role as a facilitator and driver, accompanying enterprises as they step out into the world.

Figures that speak for themselves

Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 received great attention from former and current Party and State leaders as well as from the business community.

According to Mr. Ta Hoang Linh, Director General of the European–American Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 generated a remarkable pull. A total of 450 foreign business delegations from 60 countries and territories gathered to seek partners and sign cooperation agreements. In parallel, more than 400 Vietnamese enterprises carefully prepared their booths, products and materials to showcase their supply capabilities to international customers.

The exhibition space of 10,000 m² displayed up to 12,000 export products, presenting a comprehensive picture of the strengths of Vietnamese goods – from agricultural products, food and beverages to consumer goods, household items, wooden furniture, fashion, technology and production-support services. Each booth not only brought products, but also conveyed a business philosophy, a brand story, a spirit of innovation and the capacity to meet the most stringent standards of international markets.

The most prominent highlight at Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 was the business matching (B2B) activities. Over three days, the organizers arranged 3,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings, while also creating open spaces for free connections, with more than 10,000 exchanges recorded in the exhibition area. Firm handshakes, memoranda of understanding and on-the-spot contract commitments all reflected the real intensity of the event.

Beyond the exhibition itself, many foreign business delegations accepted invitations from localities to join field trips to learn more about the investment environment, industrial infrastructure and production capacity in Viet Nam. This is how the exhibition goes beyond simple matchmaking to become a “springboard” for capital, technology and orders to flow toward provinces and cities.

Walking into Vietnam International Sourcing 2025, it was easy to see booths packed with visitors, a vibrant trading atmosphere and negotiation tables filled to capacity. From major brands in food processing, wooden furniture, textiles and handicrafts to small and medium-sized enterprises, all shared a common goal: to conquer international markets.

Many companies shared that this was the first time they had direct contact with some of the world’s leading distribution groups, from Walmart, Aeon, Carrefour to Amazon, IKEA, Lulu Hypermarket and others. This not only created export opportunities, but also allowed enterprises to learn about supply-chain management, quality standards and sustainability processes – factors that are becoming increasingly important in global trade.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade – “Architect” of a Global Connection Network

Behind the outstanding success of Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 lies the pivotal role of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, especially the European–American Market Department.

In a context of increasing volatility in international trade, rising protectionism and mounting challenges in traditional export markets, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has proactively developed Vietnam International Sourcing as a key “link” to help Vietnamese enterprises stay close to the real needs of global buyers. Instead of organizing a conventional product fair, the event was designed as a multi-layered series including conferences, specialized seminars, roundtables, exhibitions, B2B matching and local field trips. This approach helps businesses not only showcase products but also gain knowledge, skills and networks to go further.

Moreover, the success of Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 is not measured only by the number of contracts, orders or partners signed. More importantly, the event generated a strong spillover effect across the economy.

The event clearly helped: elevate the national brand as Vietnam is positioned as a reliable production and supply center in global value chains; open opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises to meet international buyers for the first time; promote regional linkages through local field trips that contribute to balanced and sustainable development; and encourage enterprises to keep pace with green transition and digital transformation via sessions on sustainability standards, digital trade and smart logistics.

Alongside the main programme, the forums, conferences and seminars at Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 attracted special attention from state management agencies and the business community.

Overall, Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 has left a strong imprint. What began as brief encounters at the exhibition may become the starting point for export contracts worth tens of millions of US dollars. Warm handshakes may open the way for Vietnamese products to go even further.

More importantly, the event has affirmed that when the Ministry of Industry and Trade stands alongside businesses, when enterprises actively embrace integration and when international markets pay growing attention to sustainable supply sources, Viet Nam’s export prospects are extraordinarily promising.

With its proven scale and impact, Vietnam International Sourcing will certainly continue to be maintained and upgraded, becoming a true “national brand” in trade promotion. From there, each enterprise, each product and each locality will contribute to building a new position for Vietnamese goods on the global economic map.
