24/10/2024

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is collaborating with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to organize the "Connecting the International Goods Supply Chain 2024" event (Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024) from June 6th to 8th, to support Vietnamese businesses in participating more deeply in the global supply chain.

The event will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) and will include an Export Forum, specialized seminars, trade connection activities, and the International Sourcing Expo 2024 (Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo 2024).

The exhibition has a scale of 10,000 m2, bringing together 500 Vietnamese businesses in the food, textile, footwear, sportswear, household goods, and furniture industries. Participating businesses all have international certifications and possess high-quality products.

Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 takes place in the context of Vietnam rising to become a major production center of the world. At the same time, the trend of diversifying supply sources by global retail corporations also opens up great opportunities for Vietnamese businesses.

The event is expected to attract 10,000 visitors for trade and exchange, including 300 international delegations from 30 countries and territories.

Notably, Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 will see the participation of many large corporations around the world such as Aeon, Uniqlo (Japan); Walmart, Amazon, Safeway (USA); Falabella (Chile); Carrefour, Decathlon (France); and Central Group (Thailand), along with many other big names.

Besides the goal of promoting exports, Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 also supports businesses in enhancing their competitiveness and developing sustainably in the global market.
