Central Retail Brings Vietnamese Coffee to the World Stage
More than just a retailer, Central Retail is asserting its role as a bridge, bringing Vietnamese coffee to international consumers.
On June 6th, 2024, at the International Goods Supply Chain Connection 2024 (Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024) exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City, Central Retail Vietnam collaborated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize the grand opening of a booth promoting Vietnamese coffee. This event marked the first time a comprehensive picture of the Vietnamese coffee industry was introduced in a complete and professional manner to international friends.
Efforts to Elevate Vietnamese Coffee
Mr. Ta Hoang Linh, Director General of the European-American Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), highly appreciated Central Retail's efforts in promoting Vietnamese coffee to the world. He emphasized that Central Retail's proactive market research and selection of coffee as a key product line for promotion will contribute to increasing the value of the Vietnamese coffee industry.
Mr. Olivier Langlet, General Director of Central Retail in Vietnam, shared about the enormous potential of the Vietnamese coffee industry, with export turnover in 2023 reaching 4.24 billion USD. Central Retail is committed to close cooperation with Vietnamese coffee businesses, supporting brand building, improving production capacity, meeting international standards, and connecting with global distributors.
Diverse and Impressive Booth
The coffee booth, jointly organized by Central Retail and partners such as K Coffee, Adore, Le Caiffa, Lady Trieu, and Little Green Cyclo, showcased 5 main categories of Vietnamese coffee: roasted and ground coffee, instant coffee, coffee capsules, canned coffee, and the coffee shop model.
In addition, Central Retail also introduced environmentally friendly packaging solutions, aiming towards sustainable development. Visitors were able to enjoy 10,000 cups of coffee and learn about Vietnamese coffee culture.
Supporting Vietnamese Businesses to Reach the World
At the event, Central Retail mobilized purchasing representatives from Thailand to connect directly with Vietnamese businesses, creating conditions for Vietnamese goods to access the international market through Central Retail's distribution system.
Central Retail representatives also actively participated in seminars and conferences to share market trends, provide information and expertise, and support Vietnamese businesses in trade negotiations and signing export contracts.
With continuous efforts, Central Retail is contributing to building the Vietnamese coffee brand in the international market, opening up new development opportunities for the coffee industry in the era of international economic integration.
