Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Technology Application Forum 2025 Set to Take Place
The event will offer a valuable platform for domestic and international businesses to strengthen cooperation and jointly build a sustainable, modern, and globally integrated e-commerce ecosystem.
Amid the continued global boom in e-commerce—now a key driver of national digital transformation—the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) will host the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Technology Application Forum 2025 on September 5.
The forum, held within the framework of Vietnam International Sourcing 2025, is expected to feature nearly 600 booths from Vietnam and abroad, along with delegations of international enterprises from the United States, China, France, Singapore, Malaysia, and other key markets.
This year’s edition reaffirms its role as a “strategic meeting point” for Vietnam’s e-commerce and digital-technology community. Beyond providing a comprehensive outlook on global e-commerce trends, the forum creates a practical networking space for international organizations and Vietnamese companies to showcase products, expand export markets, explore investment opportunities, and enhance competitiveness.
Notably, the participation of leading names such as Amazon Global Selling, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Viettel Post, Vietnam Post, JD Logistics, Fado, Sendo Farm, Taureau AI (France) and other international partners will enable Vietnamese businesses to access cutting-edge solutions for supply-chain optimization, logistics operations, and digital-marketing strategies.
The forum will take place at The Adora Premium Convention Center (adjacent to SECC), featuring morning and afternoon thematic conferences. Key sessions include:
E-Commerce Conference: “Diversifying Export Markets & Applying Digital Technologies for Vietnamese Businesses”
Experts and major platforms will discuss cross-border e-commerce export strategies into markets such as the United States, ASEAN, China, and Europe, as well as the application of AI, digital technologies, and data-driven solutions—particularly to support SMEs.Conference: “Panorama of E-Commerce & Cross-Border E-Commerce – Pathways for Vietnamese Exporters”
This session will update participants on emerging trends in domestic and cross-border e-commerce, introduce modern logistics models, supply-chain management technologies, and share practical lessons from both Vietnamese and international enterprises.
According to Mr. Bùi Huy Hoàng, Deputy Director of the Center for E-Commerce and Digital Technology Development (eComDX), the forum will also highlight cooperation initiatives promoting training programs and cross-border e-commerce business-matching for Vietnamese companies in markets such as China, Singapore, South Korea, and the United States, in partnership with the Asia Cross-Border Commerce Alliance (ACBC) and other major international partners. These initiatives aim to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese exporters to independently operate cross-border e-commerce activities in the coming years.
Vietnam’s e-commerce market is experiencing strong growth, reaching USD 25 billion in 2024, up 20% year-on-year, making it one of the top three markets in Southeast Asia. This year’s forum is expected to provide not only strategic insights into e-commerce market trends but also a significant boost for Vietnamese businesses in brand-building, management capacity, and competitiveness on the global digital-commerce stage.
With its scale and diverse program, the event promises to be a prime opportunity for businesses at home and abroad to collaborate and contribute to shaping a sustainable, modern, and globally integrated e-commerce ecosystem for the future.
