Central Retail Vietnam Connects Enterprises to the International Goods Supply Chain

16/09/2025

On 4 September 2025, the Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 exhibition took place in Ho Chi Minh City. Central Retail Vietnam partnered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) to promote Vietnamese products to major global buyers.

Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 provides an important platform for enterprises to meet directly with representatives of major distributors in Vietnam, the region, and worldwide.

The exhibition was held from 4 to 6 September 2025 and featured a series of conferences, seminars, panel discussions, and exhibitions over three consecutive days. With a total exhibition and business-matching area of more than 10,000 square metres, the event delivered practical and tangible outcomes for participating organizations.

At the exhibition, Central Retail introduced an impressive display area showcasing products from 14 Vietnamese enterprises with strong export capabilities. The products were grouped into four key sectors: coffee, chocolate, food products, and environmentally friendly packaging.

In addition, Central Retail presented its private labels GO! and Viet Gems—regional specialty products that have achieved OCOP certification of three stars or higher and fully meet export standards, making them ready to participate in international goods supply chains.

Notably, Central Retail invited purchasing representatives from Thailand to directly connect with Vietnamese enterprises at the exhibition. This concrete initiative aims to identify sourcing opportunities and support Vietnamese businesses in expanding exports to international markets through Central Retail’s distribution networks across multiple countries, thereby enabling Vietnamese products to integrate more deeply into global production and supply chains.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Paul Le, Vice President of Central Retail Vietnam, stated:
“Vietnamese enterprises participating with Central Retail at Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 will continue to be promoted at the Vietnamese Product Week in Paris (France), jointly organised by Central Retail Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry and Trade in October. This will provide enterprises with an opportunity to diversify markets while gaining deeper access to the European market.”

Representing the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mr. Ta Hoang Linh, Director General of the Foreign Market Development Department, emphasised:
“The Ministry of Industry and Trade highly appreciates the role of Central Retail in consistently accompanying Vietnamese enterprises at Vietnam International Sourcing for three consecutive years. Central Retail’s presence not only helps Vietnamese goods access international distribution systems, but also contributes to brand building, increased value addition, and the sustainable development of Vietnamese products in global markets.”

This marks the third consecutive year that Central Retail has partnered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, reaffirming its long-term commitment to supporting Vietnamese enterprises in expanding into global markets.
