More Than 40 Philippine Enterprises to Visit Viet Nam for Supply Chain Linkages
As of now, 105 business representatives from more than 40 Philippine enterprises have registered to travel to Viet Nam to participate in the “Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 (VIS 2025)” global supply-chain connection event.
Viet Nam supplied USD 2.6 billion worth of rice to the Philippines in 2024.

A delegation of 105 traders representing 40 Philippine companies and distributors will come to Viet Nam to seek sourcing partners during the Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 (VIS 2025) series, taking place from 4–6 September in Ho Chi Minh City.
At VIS 2024, the Philippines was also among the countries sending a large business delegation to Viet Nam in search of suppliers.
According to the Viet Nam Trade Office in the Philippines, since early 2025, the Trade Office has proactively partnered with the Philippines–Vietnam Business Council under the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) to disseminate information, promote the event and organise the delegation of Philippine enterprises, importers, buyers and distribution groups participating in VIS 2025.
As of 19 August 2025, a total of 105 traders, representing over 40 Philippine companies, had registered to attend VIS 2025 in Viet Nam.
This marks an all-time record—the highest number of Philippine business delegates ever registered for the annual VIS event, far exceeding last year’s record of 70 delegates representing more than 20 companies.
The Philippine enterprises joining the event this year operate across a wide range of industries, including logistics and transportation, pharmaceuticals manufacturing, food production, e-commerce supply chains, hospitals and education, healthcare services, housing, the paper industry, e-commerce and retail, seafood and agricultural product distribution, fast-moving consumer goods, plastic manufacturing and distribution, among others.
The delegation includes many major Philippine corporations such as EDL Group; Airspeed Group of Companies; SPD Group; Lloyd Laboratories; MH Food Group; Go Food Ventures; Prestige Paper Products; Executive Genesis Services; Helix Software Technologies; members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce–South Luzon; AM-Europharma Corporation; DM Global; Romac Services and Trading; KPP Powers Commodities; AgriPanalo, and others.
“With this record number of Philippine companies participating in VIS 2025, Viet Nam is clearly becoming an ideal destination for Philippine enterprises to explore business cooperation opportunities and source goods to meet the rising demand of the Philippine population,” the representative of the Viet Nam Trade Office in the Philippines emphasised.
The Philippine delegation’s activities in Viet Nam will focus on exploring market potential; meeting regulatory agencies; attending the investment and trade promotion conference between Philippine and Vietnamese enterprises (scheduled for 3 September 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City); participating in the global supply-chain connection series; engaging in B2B meetings with Vietnamese companies; and visiting local production sites and factories.
VIS is an important initiative jointly organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade since 2023 to implement the Prime Minister–approved Scheme on “Promoting Vietnamese Enterprises’ Direct Participation in Foreign Distribution Networks by 2030” under Decision No. 1415/QĐ-TTg dated 14 November 2022.
The event has been held annually for three consecutive years, aiming to develop export and import markets, ensure long-term sustainable growth, and encourage Vietnamese enterprises to take part more actively in global production, supply and distribution chains, exporting directly to overseas retail systems by fully leveraging their strengths and competitive advantages.
