Vietnamese Businesses in Aeon TopValu's Sights
Recognizing the enormous potential of the Vietnamese market, Aeon TopValu continues its push to find agricultural product and processed food suppliers at the "Connecting the International Goods Supply Chain" event (Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024).
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the General Director of Aeon TopValu affirmed that the demand for Vietnamese agricultural products and processed food in the markets where Aeon has a presence is very high. To meet this demand, Aeon TopValu will send a large purchasing delegation from many countries, including China, Japan, Thailand, and Malaysia, to participate in Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City from June 6th to 8th, 2024.
Aeon TopValu is particularly interested in Vietnamese suppliers in the fields of agricultural products (fresh and dried), frozen goods, and processed food. The group aims to find capable manufacturing partners who meet Aeon's stringent standards to build sustainable supply relationships, serving not only the Vietnamese market but also expanding globally.
In addition to participating in the event, the Aeon TopValu purchasing delegation will directly visit and survey raw material areas, growing areas, and production factories in Vietnam.
Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 is expected to open up opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to officially export agricultural products to key markets in the region through Aeon's value chain.
Furthermore, Aeon will also continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize "Vietnam Goods Week in Japan" in 2024. These two events will create a series of trade promotion activities, helping Vietnamese goods, especially agricultural products and processed food, to access the Japanese market - one of the most demanding markets in Asia.
Previously, at Viet Nam International Sourcing 2023, Aeon TopValu successfully connected with many Vietnamese suppliers, exporting products to the Aeon system in China, Thailand, and Malaysia.
