Vietnamese Businesses Welcome a Wave of Purchases from International Corporations
The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade has just announced that the "International Goods Supply Chain Connection 2024" event (Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024) will take place from June 6th to 8th at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
This large-scale event promises to open up golden opportunities for Vietnamese businesses as it attracts the participation of many leading global retail and manufacturing corporations such as Boeing, Walmart, Amazon (USA), Carrefour, Decathlon (France), Aeon, Uniqlo (Japan), and many other big names.
Following the resounding success of 2023, Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 is jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee with the goal of connecting Vietnamese manufacturers and exporters with international importers and distribution channels. The event not only focuses on promoting exports but also supports businesses in enhancing their competitiveness and developing sustainably in the global market.
The highlight of Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 is the International Sourcing Expo with a scale of up to 10,000 m2, double that of the previous year, bringing together 500 Vietnamese businesses from various fields. Participating businesses all have international certifications and possess high-quality products in Vietnam's strong industries such as food, textiles, footwear, household goods, furniture, and supporting industries.
The event is expected to attract 10,000 visitors for trade and exchange, including 300 international delegations from 30 countries and territories. The organizers will also coordinate with localities to organize field surveys at Vietnamese businesses, creating favorable conditions for international buyers to learn and cooperate.
Mr. Ta Hoang Linh, Director General of the European - American Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), said that the event is taking place in the context of Vietnam's strong rise to become a major production center of the world. The trend of diversifying supply sources by global retail corporations also opens up great opportunities for Vietnamese businesses.
Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024 is expected to be a place to sign many valuable trade contracts, while also inspiring new business ideas, contributing to bringing Vietnamese goods to conquer the international market.
