Chinese Enterprises “Descend” on Viet Nam International Sourcing 2025 – VIS 2025
Hundreds of major Chinese corporations and distribution enterprises are set to converge at the Viet Nam International Sourcing 2025 (VIS 2025) exhibition. The event represents a golden opportunity for Vietnamese suppliers, as industry giants from dynamic consumer hubs such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Taiwan—along with key border regions—are coming ready to source and sign multi-million-dollar purchase contracts, creating a powerful springboard for Vietnamese goods to penetrate the 1.4-billion-consumer market.
At VIS 2025, the agricultural sector—especially fruit—is receiving exceptional attention from Chinese companies.

Vietnamese Agricultural Products in High Demand
At VIS 2025, agricultural products—particularly fruit—are among the most sought-after categories for Chinese buyers. Pagoda Group (BGY Fruits), China’s leading fruit retail chain with more than 5,000 stores, considers Viet Nam a strategic sourcing destination. The products most in demand include durian, aromatic coconut, banana, dragon fruit and jackfruit.
Enterprises from border provinces such as Yunnan and Guangxi have also registered to source durian, longan, coffee, tea and cashew nuts. Their priority is to secure stable, transparent supply chains that allow these products to enter China’s domestic retail system directly. The convergence of multiple sourcing channels highlights the rising appeal of Vietnamese agricultural products among Chinese consumers.
F&B Sector Expands Its Reach
Reputable distributors from Taiwan (China) such as Elom Group, Chi Cheng Food and Gu Gang have requested B2B meetings with Vietnamese manufacturers. Elom Group stands out, with nearly 30 years of distribution experience in Taiwan and an extensive network spanning supermarkets, convenience stores and e-commerce platforms.
From mainland China, Liang Zhi Long represents a fully integrated F&B supply-chain model—from menu R&D and upstream food sourcing to cold-chain logistics and financial services for restaurant chains. With a vast cold-storage system and a network of over 10,000 partner factories, Liang Zhi Long is expected to serve as a “runway” enabling Vietnamese F&B products to scale rapidly.
Multi-Sector Distribution Channels: Gateways to Global Markets
Major corporations from Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taiwan (China) are participating with diverse sourcing portfolios ranging from food, beverages and footwear to household goods and furniture. This presents opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to engage with multi-channel O2O (online-to-offline) distribution systems.
In particular, hubs such as Hong Kong and Taipei act not only as gateways to the mainland Chinese market but also as platforms for Vietnamese goods to reach global consumers. Corporations like Rui Wei, Viet Kwong and Elom Group do more than source products—they also provide comprehensive marketing support, helping Vietnamese brands gain rapid visibility at points of sale and across digital platforms.
The Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 exhibition, taking place from 4 to 6 September in Ho Chi Minh City, promises to be a pivotal connector—where Chinese enterprises come not only to “look” but to “buy.” It opens a direct path for Vietnamese goods into one of the world’s largest consumer markets. Vietnamese enterprises simply need to prepare their profiles, ensure quality standards and be ready to close deals right at the event.
