19/11/2025

In implementation of trade and investment promotion plans and activities aimed at strengthening business networking and enhancing the visibility and branding of Vietnamese enterprises and products in the United States market, on 15 November 2025, the Consulates General of ASEAN countries in Houston jointly organized the Asian Bazaar Fall Fair 2025 in Houston, Texas.

The event was co-chaired by the Consulates General of Viet Nam, Indonesia and the Philippines in Houston. Asian Bazaar 2025 marked its first-ever edition in Houston, featuring more than 50 exhibition booths from Asian countries and attracting enterprises operating in a wide range of sectors, including food and beverages, textiles and garments, construction materials, handicrafts, ceramics and other consumer products. Participating businesses showcased, introduced and directly sold their products to the local community at the fair.

The Vietnam Trade Office in Houston served as the focal point for coordination and implementation, working closely with relevant units of ASEAN diplomatic missions in organizing the event. The Trade Office invited and mobilized major importers, exporters and distributors—particularly U.S.-based Vietnamese enterprises and entrepreneurs—to set up booths and display, sell and offer Vietnamese products to visitors. Notable participants included C&T Produce Wholesale, L&V Food Supply, Camau Food Supermarket, MIB – Brad Morris Intel. Corp., A+ Construction LLC, VietTaste Inc., DV Global Corp., Pho Huynh LLC, among others.

A number of these companies have previously participated in Vietnam International Sourcing events during 2023–2025, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam. These enterprises have made significant contributions to bilateral trade and investment promotion, supported economic and commercial cooperation, and accumulated decades of experience in import–export activities. With well-established infrastructure and extensive distribution networks across the United States, companies such as C&T Produce, L&V, Camau and MIB have played a pioneering role in introducing new Vietnamese products and specialties to the U.S. market, including fresh Bac Giang lychees, Dien pomelos, beverages and a wide range of other Vietnamese products, thereby contributing positively to Viet Nam–U.S. economic and trade relations.

In addition to product sales and community outreach activities, the Organizing Committee allocated a dedicated large exhibition area (10 tables) to the Vietnam Trade Office in Houston for promoting the image, capacity and brands of major Vietnamese enterprises and overseas Vietnamese businesses. Featured companies included THACO Industries, Hoa Phat Home Appliances, HABECO, Duc Giang Garment Corporation (DUGARCO), HAPRO, Sao Mai Trading Corp., Thanh Quoc, BXT Corp., Minh Hoa JSC Valves, VIETXINH US LLC, A+ Construction LLC, VietTaste Inc., DV Global Corp., Pho Huynh LLC, among others.

Asian Bazaar 2025 in Houston also featured a diverse range of cultural and musical performances presented by the ASEAN community, with active participation from the diplomatic missions of Viet Nam, Indonesia and the Philippines. These performances were delivered in a professional and engaging manner, contributing to a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere throughout the event.

The organization of the Asian Bazaar Fall Fair 2025 in Houston by the Consulates General of Viet Nam, Indonesia and the Philippines provided a valuable opportunity to expand B2B networking, with strong engagement from business associations and the ASEAN community in the region. Following the exhibition, showcasing and on-site sales activities, many participating enterprises were able to identify new business leads and partnership opportunities, laying the groundwork for expanding production and business operations, while further strengthening ASEAN–U.S. economic and trade cooperation in the period ahead.
