Businesses need to meet the following requirements: supervision by Vietnam's Food Authority or a quality assurance program approved by SFA.

Conditions for companies to export fresh milk is:

- Under the appropriate supervision of the Food Authority of Vietnam or

- Have a quality assurance program approved by the SFA.

Singapore importers will be required to maintain documentation demonstrating that imported products were manufactured under sanitary conditions at a regulated manufacturing facility. Here are some examples of documents that the SFA accepts as proof:

- Certificate of HACCP

- Certificate of GMP

- Health certificate (issued by the authority of the exporting country)

- Certificate of export (issued by the authority of the exporting country)

- Factory operation license (issued by the authority of the exporting country)

All food additives and ingredients contained in exported fresh milk must be on the list of permitted substances regulated by the SFA:
