Hundreds of international buyers are looking for Vietnamese suppliers

Aeon, Uniqlo, Walmart, Amazon, Boeing, Carrefour, Central Group... along with hundreds of businesses and international buyers from more than 25 countries participate in the series of events "Connecting the international supply chain of goods".

On September 13, the series of events "Connecting the international supply chain of goods" (Viet Nam International Sourcing 2023) organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee officially opened. The event will take place from September 13-15 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said that in 8 months of 2023, Vietnam's total import and export turnover of goods reached 435.23 billion USD. Of which exports reached 227.7 billion USD, helping Vietnam achieve a trade surplus of 20.19 billion USD. Although exports decreased compared to the same period last year, it also shows the efforts of industries, levels and the business community.

In particular, the series of events includes activities such as: Export Forum "Connecting the international supply chain of goods"; seminars, trade connection activities and exhibitions Connecting the international supply chain of goods - Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo 2023…

The event also recorded the unprecedented interest and participation of major corporations in the world such as: Aeon, Uniqlo (Japan); Walmart, Amazon, Boeing, AES (USA), Carrefour, Decathlon (France); Central Group (Thailand); Coppel (Mexico); IKEA (Sweden), LuLu (UAE)...and hundreds of businesses and international buyers from more than 25 countries and territories.
In addition, at Viet Nam International Sourcing 2023, the businesses selected to introduce to importers, distribution groups and international purchasing groups are all businesses that have achieved international certificates, have products High quality products in industries that Vietnam has strengths in and that international distributors and retailers have demand for such as: Food, textiles, footwear, backpacks, bags, sporting goods and picnics, household appliances and furniture, supporting industries...

The series of events is an activity to actively implement the Project "Promoting Vietnamese enterprises to directly participate in foreign distribution networks until 2030" approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1415/QD- TTg on November 14, 2022. At the same time, this is not only an event to promote exports and develop important markets, but also a place for businesses to meet, learn and exchange experiences.
