In Melbourne, with great effort, lychees are continuously brought to market by plane to ensure quality. The notable brands are Uu Dam, BatoAusale, which are currently being sold for 32-35 AUD per kg (about 500-600 thousand VND per kg) depending on whether you buy it individually or buy the whole 5kg box. This year, more importers participated. Vietnam Trade Office in Australia is also working with some other big importers until the end of the lychee season.

Meanwhile, in Perth, tens of tons of U-Hong lychees (with the trade name in Australia is Golden lychees - ordered by the Trade Office) have been sold for 2 weeks now, distributed by 4wayfreshs Company in collaboration with Red Dragon Company. Due to being suitable for sea transportation, U-Hong lychees have become a familiar commodity in Perth and Adelaide, especially after the 2021 charity auction to help children in lychee growing areas at MCQ supermarket in Perth City, Western Australia.

In order to promote lychees, the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia is organizing Vietnamese lychee week with many promotional activities.

In the action plan, the Trade Office aims to support bringing high-quality agricultural products to Australia at commensurate prices. To do this, besides building a national brand, supporting corporate branding is a lever that links distributor responsibility with product quality.
