Chemicals that cause endocrine disruption and cause cancer are on the EU's list of particularly dangerous substances
According to information from the Swedish Chemicals Agency, the substances currently designated as particularly dangerous are, among other things, carcinogenic, endocrine disruptors and have reproductive effects. They can be found in everything from paint, paper, textiles, leather, fur, plastic, to ink. Enterprises producing Vietnamese export products to Europe in general and Northern Europe in particular need to check whether their products contain the above substances to make appropriate adjustments.
The EU lists substances that may have serious effects on human health or the environment in a so-called candidate list.

When a substance is added to the list, it places immediate demands on companies that manufacture, import or sell goods containing that substance. For example, consumers have the right to receive information upon request if a product contains the substance, professional users must receive information without request, and companies supplying products to professional customers must register products in a database with the EU Chemicals Agency.
Once a substance is included in the list of particularly dangerous substances, a license may be required in the future to use, import that substance, sell or transport chemical products containing that substance. The goal of listing particularly dangerous substances is to phase them out.
On January 17, the EU chemicals agency ECHA updated the list with nine particularly dangerous substances and groups of substances added. For a detailed list, please see the links below:
