Purely Vietnamese enterprises can only produce small parts and accessories with low added value. Therefore, Boeing's investment in Vietnam in the coming time needs to actively contribute to creating a stronger spillover impact on improving the production and manufacturing capacity of Vietnamese enterprises.
The Minister said that since 2020, the aerospace industry has been included in the list of high-tech industries prioritized for investment and development by Vietnam. In the mechanical engineering industry, in Vietnam, large purely Vietnamese corporations have been formed with capacity, and are also willing to invest in research and development, machinery and equipment to pursue greater goals. in the field of high technology and can completely become potential partners of Boeing in the future.
