Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024: Connecting Vietnamese Businesses with Leading Global Retail Groups
The "Connecting the International Goods Supply Chain 2024" event (Viet Nam International Sourcing 2024) will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee from June 6th to 8th, 2024 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
This event is part of the "Promoting Vietnamese Businesses to Directly Participate in Foreign Distribution Networks by 2030" project approved by the Prime Minister. The European-American Market Department and ITPC are the focal points for implementation. The event will include an export forum, specialized seminars, trade activities, and the Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo 2024 with a scale double that of the previous year, attracting 500 businesses from various fields to participate. Organized by ADPEX company under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the exhibition will take place on an area of 10,000 m² at SECC.

According to information from the Vietnam Trade Office in Mexico, large corporations like Coppel will be present at the event. Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that in recent years, Vietnam has increasingly affirmed its role as a global manufacturing hub, providing a variety of high-quality goods at competitive prices. At the same time, supply chain disruptions caused by COVID-19 and economic-political instability have led corporations to seek solutions to diversify their supply sources, in which Vietnam has emerged as a strategic choice.
The 2024 event is expected to attract 10,000 visitors and 300 international delegations from 30 countries and territories. The Organizing Committee will cooperate with local Departments of Industry and Trade to bring international delegations to survey businesses on-site. The Vietnam Trade Office system and its branches abroad have widely promoted this event to attract the participation of importers and distribution channels from everywhere.
Large corporations such as Aeon, Uniqlo (Japan), Walmart, Amazon, Boeing, AES (USA), Carrefour, Decathlon (France), Central Group (Thailand),
IKEA (Sweden), and LuLu (UAE) are expected to attend. In addition to the goal of promoting exports, the event also organizes sideline activities to help Vietnamese businesses improve their capacity and develop sustainably when expanding into the international market.
